Grandma took the little nugget on a stroll to meet Mrs. Klapps and spent some time outside on the front porch enjoying the break from the rain.
Sunday night Momma, Dad & Cammi went to Reston to join Pop-pop and Scoozie for dinner at Jackson's.
Monday was a traveling day. Mom, Dad, Camden and Monkey said their goodbyes and piled in the car to start the trip back home. It rained the whole way to Wilmington and both Cammi and Monkey were troopers. Wilmington ended up getting 10" of rain only topped by the downpour from Hurricane Floyd in '99.
Tuesday Miss Camden was hungry and it seemed like she spent the whole day eating. Can we say growth spurt? Mom finally was able to make it out to the dreaded Walmart later in the evening while dad went on a surf session.
Wednesday it poured all day and our street flooded. Cammi and Momma cleaned house and took a nap. Daddy was supposed to have a late meeting in New Bern but came home early to avoid the flooding from the monsoon.
Thursday it was still raining. Camden's friend Wyatt came by to play for a while so Wyatt's Mom could run to the store to do some grocery shopping. Then Cammi and Mom braved the storm to run to the store themselves to prepare for Aunt Mandy and Sarah's arrival.
Thursday evening Auntie Mandy and Sarah made it here and rung themselves out from the rain. We had a wonderful night full of champagne and lots of food to celebrate Auntie Mandy turning 30 and Cammi's debut. Shay and another Sarah came over too, to join the party.
Friday the girls went shopping to feed Auntie Mandy's blue jean addiction and then went out to get sushi for lunch before Auntie Mandy and Sarah headed out for Charleston.
Friday night Momma went out to a fashion show fundraiser for women's cancer that Auntie Lucy was suppling all the clothes for. Camden and Daddy spent the evening together.
Saturday Mom left Miss Camden overnight for the first time in the very capable hands of Daddy. She and her girls snuck off to the Dirty Myrtle for a girls night out. Daddy and Cammi went for walk around the block and Camden and Daddy watched the Pirates get beat by UNC.
Sunday Mom came and she and Cammi spent the day resting before starting their big week while Daddy went and surfed the swell. Daddy had a craving for wings so he went to BW3's and brought home dinner for us.
