Back to the Real World Week #12

Monday was Mommy and Cammi's last day home together.  In the morning we went by the daycare to fill out paperwork and let Camden meet and hang out with her new friends. Then we spent the rest of the day running errands trying to get everything prepared for the upcoming week.


Tuesday morning Daddy took Miss Cammi for her two month check up.  She got a good report.  Camden now weighs 10 lbs 6 oz is 22" and she has all of her up to date immunizations. Daddy held her down and looked the other way while the doctor gave her the shots.

Mommy went to Auntie Dana's house to hang out with Wyatt while we waited for Cammi to join us.  Camden joined the party and Wyatt was a little jealous not being the the only baby. But he soon got over it.  Miss Cammi spent the rest of the day with Auntie Dana and Wyatt while Mom went off to start her new job at Perry's.

Wednesday Camden started her first day of daycare.  Mommy dropped her off and reluctantly left her while she went off to work in the real world again.

She got a great report from school.  The little nugget was so excited that she barely slept all day.  She didn't want to miss a thing. She changed her outfit a couple of times, went through 3 bibs, and all the other kids loved her fauxhawk!  

Thursday morning she headed over to hangout with Mr. Wyatt again for the day. After a morning filled with Sesame Street, playing in the closet, and banging on some pots and pans the two were tuckered out.  They caught an afternoon nap on the couch together. 

Thursday night she started to get her first cold which made her sound like a little snorting piglet because she was so congested. Momma was up with her injecting saline solution in her nostrils and sucking out the nose boogies with the nasal aspirator.  Camden was not a fan at all!

Even with all that and a humidifier on all night she was still making little piggy noises Friday morning.

Since there was no fever Mommy shipped her off to daycare for her second day.  About half way through the day Miss Cammi starting feeling better. She even enjoyed a nap outside on a beautiful fall day.

Saturday Mommy had to work until 4 p.m. so Daddy and Camden spent the day together.  Monkey and Cammi caught a mid-morning snooze on the couch. 

Later that afternoon Miss Cammi and Daddy scampered off to their favorite place and found a nice spot on the beach to enjoy the gorgeous fall weather.
