30 years & 3 months week # 13

Sunday Momma, Daddy, and Camden went for a lunch date at Two Guys Grill.  After lunch, Mom and Dad took Cammi to start their first tradition as a family. They went to the pumpkin patch where she got her very first pumpkin.

Afterward, Mom and Cammi said goodbye to Daddy who was off to play baseball with the fellows on the Mudcats.  Miss Cammi and Momma went to the store to get the ingredients for "Acorn Squash & Pumpkin Soup".  Then they went home to roast the pumpkin and squash and took a nap before their movie date with Aunt Ashley.

Aunt Ashley came to pick them up but first they had to stop by the park to see if they could find Steven's keys that he might have lost there the day before.  Mom got out to help Aunt Ashley look for them and was bombarded with horns blowing and shouts of SURPRISE!  Daddy, Aunt Ashley, and Auntie Jenn had planned a surprise party for Mommy's 30th birthday at Ogden Park.  They got her good!

They grilled out hamburgers, hot dogs and veggie burgers.  Everyone brought wonderful food and drinks.  There was wiffle ball and horse shoes played.  It was wonderful!

Monday Cammi wanted to be held all day long.  She and Momma did get out to run errands until almost 4pm.  Then they came home and finished the soup they had started on Sunday.

Tuesday it was off to play with Mr. Wyatt again.  He loves his little Cammi and was encouraging to practice "Tummy Time," until he realized she was doing it on his blanket.

Tuesday night Daddy made red beans and rice for dinner and we channel surfed between Jeopardy and the Texas vs. Tampa Bay game.

Wednesday Momma turned the big 3-0!  Her new work colleagues got her a cake at work.  She had her 2nd birthday surprise when Scoozie started texting her very current pictures of Miss Cammi Simone.

Turns out Scoozie had stolen Pop-pop's car to venture down to Wilmington and broke Camden out of day care.  Then spent the afternoon messing with Mommie's head by texting pictures and then saying she wasn't here. Daddy was even in on it.
Auntie Ashley and Steven came over to keep Ms. Cammi while Scoozie & Daddy took Momma out to Portland Grill for dinner.

When we got home Auntie Ashley had yet a 3rd surprise for Momma a homemade strawberry-chocolate cake yumm!

Then we opened Mommie's presents and visited with Scoozie for the rest of the night.

Thursday Camden spent her 3 month birthday playing with her Scoozie and Monkey!

Scoozie helped out around the house and made spinach and black bean enchiladas for dinner.  Then Camden and Scoozie enjoyed bath time together, but Daddy had to do Miss Cammi's faux-hawk because he does it best!

Friday Cammi was sad to say goodbye to her Scooz and return again to daycare.  Mommy, Daddy, Camden, and Monkey spent the evening relaxing and watching the Rangers vs. Yankees game.

Saturday while Mom was at work Camden and Daddy had a lazy day around the house watching ECU beat NC State!  Go Pirates!  Later we went over to the Chambers' to grill out.  Camden and Wyatt played inside while Monkey and Angie ran around outside with the boys.  Camden was a huge fan of Uncle Chambers' Nirvana impression.
