On the Road again in week #10

On Sunday morning Momma got up and made Pawie Eggs Benedict, Paula Dean's cheese grits, and sliced pineapple for his birthday breakfast with all his girls.  Meanwhile  Scoozie soaked up all the Cammi time she could before having to head back to the evil NOVA.

After a tearful goodbye Cammi and Mom headed back to Wilmington.  After a quick stop at the grocery store and home to meet Auntie Jenn we jumped in the car again and headed up to Topsail to celebrate Uncle Dave's Birthday and to see an anxious Daddy.  Cammi really latched on to another Brittany at the party, must be the name!

Monday Auntie Jenn offered to hang out with the Nugget so Mom and Dad could go out for their 2nd anniversary.  They had a wonderful dinner downtown at a Latin restaurant called Mixto.

Tuesday Camden and Momma went to Perry's Emporium to see about the possibility of getting a new job with more money and better hours for Mommy.  Then they meet Daddy at home and had a family discussion about their options on the back porch, before venturing out to Target to get some more work clothes for Daddy.

Wednesday Cammi and Mom did laundry and house work to get ready for their trip to NOVA again for Cammi's Vafier debut.  

Thursday was a busy day. Ms. Angela came by and brought Camden and Momma lunch and gifts.  Auntie Ashley met us up at Mayfaire and took Cammi to Barnes & Noble while Mommy went to Reeds to give her resignation.  Then Camden and Mom rushed home to pack up the car and meet Daddy up at work to start their trip up north a little later than planned.

After a successful car trip where once again Cammi was an awesome little traveler, Camden got to meet her Great Grandma Hartenstein and Uncle Dennis for the first time.  

On Friday Aunt Julia came over for lunch and to meet Miss Cammi.  We had a delicious tomato and cheese pie.  After school Jayden came over and she and  Cammi watched some Baby Einstein together. Miss Jayden also helped Momma give Camden a bath.  Later that night Uncle Jimmy joined us for a scrumptious dinner of homemade Mac n' Cheese and salad.  

Saturday was a big day! 

 We started the morning off with some tummy time on the play mat with Dad and Grandma.

Jayden helped Daddy feed Camden a bottle.

Great Grandma Hartenstein had a surprises for Jayden and Cammi.  Cammi's first baby doll. A Madame Alexander doll!

Uncle Eric and Great Uncle Bill and Ms. Carol joined the party too.

We were able to coax the boys into some family pictures.  Cammi even got one with all her Vafier Uncles.

We had a wonderful dinner of beef tenderloin, rosemary roasted potatoes, apples and carrots, and a feta, edamame, tomato, pasta. With special homemade ice cream cake for dessert.  After dinner Daddy's highschool buddies came by to check out his latest creation.
