The Closing of a Great Year Week # 24

Sunday morning we woke up to snow falling from the sky.   Auntie Chu Chu stopped by before heading back to New York and a blizzard to get her smooches from Miss Cammi Simone.

In the afternoon everyone bundled up and headed out to the town center for some ice skating. Pop-pop, Scoozie, and Camden watched while the rest of us skated or at least tried to.

Sunday evening Pop-pop and Cammi enjoyed rice cereal and scotch together.  Then Cammi had a bath in her new duckie tub.

Camden went to bed and had to miss Darien but the rest of us enjoyed his company.

Monday morning we packed up the car yet again and head back to Grandpa & Grandma's house for visit with Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Dennis and Jayden.  Cammi was a little cranky probably because of the 6 hour drive she had a head of her she gets that from her father hahaha.  But we had a nice lunch and then headed out.

Tuesday morning Cammi and Momma got some quite quality time with just the two of them and enjoyed some breakfast while unwinding from their trip.  Then she and spent the rest of the day with Daddy because the Chambers family had the stomach flu hanging around their house.

Friday Camden and Daddy spent the day together for some father daughter quality time.  When Momma got home she and Daddy had appetizers and watched the ball drop on TV but fell asleep before it actually dropped. Silly parents!

Saturday was New Years day we had some friends over to help bring in the New Year in the traditional southern way...with blackeyed peas and collard greens normally we would have had cornbread but in the middle of cooking Momma realized Miss Cammi was not feeling so hot.  Something to the tune of the exorcist scene coming out of both ends and then...the guests arrived!  We had a great dinner enjoyed some Champagne out on the porch because it was a gorgeous day.  Auntie Meg was having fun cuddling with the little Nuggie after we reduced what we were feeding her she was able to keep nourishment down and her temperament never changed.  She was wonderful sweet self the whole day through.

Poor sick baby!
